ZoomCities Singapore

The WordPress community must be thanked for their support and innovativeness (if there’s such a word). They’ve made WordPress so easy that one can choose to update automatically without having to download and upload and key in the database details.

They certainly hold true to the name “Automatic”. The name of the group that works with WordPress. So whether you’re in Singapore or any where in the world, the improvements are incredible.

WordPress keeps updating and getting better. Version 2.3.3 was released on Feb 8, 2008. This project testifies to the power of collaboration. People working together as a community to make things work better. This is the same spirit here at ZC Singapore. We just do it at a smaller scale.

WordPress 2.3 was released exactly a week ago. This blog system is getting better with all the updates. This is also excellent timing since this site will go live in a few more days in conjunction with ZoomCities 3rd anniversary. There are a few other projects being launched on that day. So many things are happening there at the forums, so come and join us.

The community is growing and more people are being added to the list of great programmers and IT people. ZoomCIties Singapore is part of the ZoomCities World project which is undertaken by members of ZoomCities. This is in line with the moto - “building better IT community”

Hi everyone

I’ve put up some content on the site and they will be updated with more detailed information soon. You can also expect other information on Singapore to be put up soon.

Wordpress will be updated to the latest version tomorrow’s night. So, if you spot anything amiss between this period of time, fret not as it is just because of the upgrade process.

Our suggested deadline for an official launch is 29 September 2007 where we invite all ZC members to drop by and be awed by our website

This is satu posting a test post while the ZC Singpore site is being tested and the templates are being ported to WordPress. It’s harder than I first imagined it to be. Am getting some help from other zoomcities’s member who is well versed with templating Word Press.

We’re proud to have more and more Singaporeans on ZC to work on Singapore, Zoomcities World project.

I have updated WordPress to the latest version and also installed a new theme. Please give me your comments on the new theme. Thanks!
